Richard Skipper Celebrates The History and Legacy of Hello, Dolly! at the Green Room 42 on Sunday, September 29 at 1 PM. Music director is Dan Pardo; directed by James Beaman.

Following runs in Palm Springs, LA, London’s Crazy Coqs and Provincetown, the show features songs including “World, Take Me Back,” “Hello, Dolly!” “It’s Nice Looking Back,” “Call on Dolly,” “I Put My Hand In” and more. Skipper celebrates the 60th anniversary of Hello Dolly! Opening on Broadway on January 16th 1964, chronicling the history of the show that played (and continues to do so) against an ever-changing world landscape, told through songs, video clips and questions from the audience.

For almost 20 years Richard Skipper has chronicled the history of Hello, Dolly! and all of the women are (a few good men!) who played this iconic role. His website (callondolly.com) features over 1,000 interviews with the players and their first-hand accounts.
