The multi-talented Richard Skipper returns to The Laurie Beechman Theatre on Friday, May 30 at 7 PM in a new show, Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Richard Skipper (But Were Afraid To Ask). Musical direction is by Dan Pardo and direction by James Beaman.
After 46 years in show business, the award-winning entertainer and host invites his audience to join him for a one-night-only celebration of life, legacy and laughter. This isn’t a typical cabaret, but a spontaneous, joy-filled evening built entirely around and shaped by audience questions — featuring music, stories, surprises and the kind of unexpected moments that only happen when everyone’s in the room together. The show is unscripted and unpredictable. And you never know who might show up or what might happen!
Skipper is especially known in the cabaret and theatre worlds for his tributes, storytelling and ability to make audiences feel like they’re part of the show — because they are. The show is a love letter to live performance and the communities that keep it alive
Tickets are $50 – $75. Reserve here.
The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located in The West Bank Café, 407 W. 42nd St., NYC
