On Monday, June 14, at 7:30 PM ET, the Irish Repertory Theatre will stream an evening of music and songs celebrating thirty-two years of presenting Irish and Irish American stories on its stages. The 2021 Gala: The Indomitable Irishry,* features Irish Rep favorites and Broadway stars such as Melissa Errico, Kylie Kuioka, Michael Cerveris, Len Cariou, Kerry Conte, Jay Aubrey Jones, Donna Kane, Ciaran Sheehan, and Max Von Essen.
The Irish Rep will also be honoring the acclaimed master-clown and friend Bill Irwin, as well as Mary Lou Quinlan and Joe Quinlan. Irwin is a Tony Award-winning actor, and MacArthur, Guggenheim and Fulbright Fellow. The Champions of the Arts Award will be presented to best-selling author and marketing powerhouse, Mary Lou Quinlan, and Joe Quinlan, former president of Time Inc. Television and senior producer of the “MacNeil-Lehrer NewsHour.”
Directed and Arranged by Charlotte Moore and Produced by Ciarán O’Reilly, with Music Direction by John Bell, the gala is free but requires registration to access this one-night-only event. Donations are suggested for those who can afford to give.
