Tina Fey is hosting a special “One Night Only: The Best of Broadway” on Thursday, December 10 from 8-10 PM ET/PT) on NBC TV. The show includes special performances from Barbra Streisand and Antonio Banderas with the Spanish cast of A Chorus Line. Also scheduled to appear on “One Night Only” are powerhouse stars Brittney Mack, Rob McClure, Mary Louise Parker and Sutton Foster.
Additionally, the show will feature the casts of Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations, Chicago, Jagged Little Pill, Diana: The Musical, Jersey Boys, Mean Girls, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and Rent, as well as Kelly Clarkson, Brett Eldredge, Patti LaBelle, Annaleigh Ashford, Lance Bass, Kristen Bell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Peter Gallagher, Josh Groban, Jake Gyllenhaal, Sean Hayes, Nathan Lane, Camryn Manheim, Alanis Morissette, Jerry O’Connell, Leslie Odom Jr., Billy Porter, John Stamos, Aaron Tveit, Blair Underwood, Susan Kelechi Watson and Vanessa Williams.
Donations during the special will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and will help the orgnization to provide groceries and medication, health care and emergency financial assistance to those in the Broadway community who are struggling—the pandemic that has shuttered their industry for nine months and is still ongoing has greatly affecting many in ways never before anticipated.
