The annual Hudson Valley Jazz Festival, celebrating the uniquely American musical form of jazz, is set to begin on Wednesday, August 11, through Sunday, August 15, with many free programs on offer. The festival is, as always, held in multiple locations: clubs, cafes, restaurants, performing arts centers and parks. This year’s festival is dedicated to the memory of the late Wallace Roney, a 2015 alumnus.
