Birdland’s virtual alter ego, Radio Free Birdland, and BroadwayWorld Events have teamed up to present Natalie Douglas in Singin’ In The Wire, streaming on Thursday, August 20 at 7 pm ET. The title comes from the Jimmy Webb classic “Wichita Lineman,” and the songs Natalie sings are evocative of the feeling of listening to the music you love, letting the words and feelings wash over you. The show was filmed downstairs at Birdland Theater on July 30th, with music director, Brian Nash on piano.
