Moth Slam winner Gail Thomas brings Patient 13 to Pangea on Thursdays, September 11 and 18 and Saturday, September 20, all at 7 PM.
The dark solo comedy tracks Thomas’ quest to find the line between herself and others after a cancer diagnosis. With boundaries down and anxiety up, she rides a trippy rollercoaster of bad advice, mixed messages, self-discovery and healing. Chronically single but always up for adventure, she agrees to participate in a groundbreaking and eye-opening FDA-approved clinical study that gives magic mushrooms to cancer survivors with anxiety and depression.
Before becoming an actor, comic, writer and storytelling coach, Thomas was an attorney at a top NYC law firm. As a storyteller she has performed at the Moth (Slam Winner) and Risk! Story Collider. She is also a speechwriter and coach for leaders, advocates and mission-driven organizations.
