At Birdland: George Abud and Katrina Lenk—who starred together in the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical The Band’s Visit—present Abud & Lenk: Swung at 7:00 PM. They will be joined by a five-piece band featuring AJ Luca on piano, Sam Sadigursky on reeds, Dan Berkery on drums, Yuka Tadano on bass and Harvey Valdes on guitar
The pair will highlight a new selection of songs from the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Betty Carter, Jacques Brel, Marlene Dietrich, Umm Kulthum and many more for this soirée of talk and tunes. Lenk has appeared on Broadway in The Miracle Worker, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark (Arachne), Once the Musical (Reza), Indecent (Manke), Company (Bobbie) and The Band’s Visit (Dina), for which she won Tony and Grammy Awards. Her TV and film work includes a stint on the final season of “Ozark,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “Tommy,” and “The Good Fight.” Abud is a proud Arab-American artist whose credits include Cornelia Street at the Atlantic Theater,The Visit and Emojiland, among many others.

54 Below presents Taylor Iman Jones for her solo debut, celebrating her birthday on March 6 (with an additional show on March 7) both at 7 PM. Jones will be joined by Isaiah Tyrell Boyd (Book of Mormon) and Keirsten Hodgens (SIX) to sing some of her favorite Broadway tunes. She will also be sharing new arrangements of her original songs for the first time live on stage. Jones is a Bay Area native who made her Broadway debut in 2017 in Groundhog Day and later originated the role of Mopsa in Head Over Heels.
