Michele Brourman “The Price of Love,” Nominated for MAC Award for Major Recording

Singer/Songwriter/Arranger/Musical Director, Michele Brourman, has been nominated for the Manhattan Association of Cabaret (MAC) award in the category of major recording for “The Price of Love” project. Brourman and fellow nominees, Jinkx Monsoon & Major Scales (“The Ginger Snapped”) and Marissa Mulder  (“Two Tickets Left”) will find out their fate when the envelopes are opened live at the 33rd Annual MAC Awards on Tuesday, March 26 at 7:00 pm at Sony Hall in New York City. 

Michele Brourman has been making up songs and singing them since she was three years old. Her best-loved song, “My Favorite Year,” has been recorded by Michael Feinstein, Dame Cleo Laine, Margaret Whiting, Billy Stritch, and frequent collaborator Amanda McBroom. She’s written and produced the songs for 18 animated features for Universal Studios, including the “Land Before Time” series, writing for Reba McIntyre, Donnie Osmond, Olivia Newton-John and more. Her work for the theater includes the scores for the musicals “Dangerous Beauty” and “The Belle of Tombstone.”
