Manhattan Cabaret Arts celebrates Collette Black on Wednesday, August 20 at Don’t Tell Mama at 7 PM. Musical director is Ricky Ritzel with direction by Eadie Scott.

Collette Black, who would have been 70 this year, founded Manhattan Cabaret Arts with one major goal in mind: to create a cabaret family. She was the recipient of a Nightlife Award and BroadwayWorld Award for Best Cabaret Director and was awarded the very first Bistro Award as an actor. Sheproduced and directed over 200 cabaret acts and musical revues including the MAC- and Bistro Award-winning Our Life & Times Revue and the Nightlife Award-winning production of What In The World?—which later became Newsical the Musical.
