Cabaret and theater star Lorna Dallas, recipient of a 2020 Bistro Award for “Consummate Cabaret Artistry,” returns to Chelsea Table + Stage on Friday, March 20 at 7 PM with an all-new show entitled The Cabaret Files, her latest collection of musical memories.
Spring is considered a time for renewal. It’s also known to be a time for reflection. In her latest cabaret offering, Dallas does just that. She revisits musical moments she essayed during the ten years following her return to the NYC stage, some of which haven’t been performed in a club since 2016. She also performs a handful of selections that were arranged for her over the years by her production team, musical director Christopher Denny and director Barry Kleinbort, but, for one reason or another, never made the final cut. The Cabaret Files includes imaginatively arranged gems by Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Jerry Herman, James Taylor and a favorite of Dallas’, the British composer, Ivor Novello.
Tickets range from $23 cover charge for bar seating, $33 cover charge for general table seating, $44 for premium table seating, as well as a $25 food and beverage minimum. Tickets and information are available here. The performance will be live streamed.
Chelsea Table + Stage is located at 152 West 26th Street, NYC
