Liora Michelle Showcased “Songbirds of the Silver Screen” at Don’t Tell Mama

My latest photo journal features Liora Michelle, capturing moments from Songbirds of the Silver Screen, at Don’t Tell Mama on Saturday, December 13.

The show was directed by multi-award-winning director Lennie Watts, with musical direction by multi-award-winning musical director Bill Zeffiro, supported by multi-instrumentalist Ted Stafford (guitar, mandolin, saxophone and backup vocals), Mitch Enrick (woodwinds), John Miller (bass) and Chip Fabrizi (drums).

Liora sang to a full house, with her beautiful, classically-trained soprano, paying tribute and telling interesting stories of “songbirds of the silver screen,” and singing songs that moved her. It was an educational and moving performance, with beautiful arrangements and medleys, supported by the wonderful band. If you missed Liora’s shows, I recommend keeping an eye out in case she reprises Songbirds of the Silver Screen in the new year!
