My latest photo journal captures moments from Don’t Cry For Me My Yeshiva, a unique debut by Joe Fox at Don’t Tell Mama on Thursday, July 25 as he told the story that paralleled his documentary on same-sex marriage in Maine in 2009.
The show was directed by multi-award-winning director Lennie Watts, with musical direction by Dan Furman. There were special appearances by Karen Steinberg and 2024 Debut MAC award-winner Camille Diamond.
Don’t Cry For Me My Yeshiva was performed without a mic. Still, the audience was captivated by Joe Fox’s journey through memory lane and his quick wit. The show was moving and very entertaining!
