Jeff Harnar Returns to Don’t Tell Mama with “Blame It on My Youth” for Four Thursdays, Starting on February 5

Apparently you CAN go home again! Vocalist Jeff Harnar and music director-pianist Alex Rybeck revisit songs from the shows they performed at Don’t Tell Mama in the 1980’s, when the pair began their 42-year-long musical partnership. Blame It on My Youth plays on four Thursdays in February: 5, 12, 19 and 26, all at 7 PM.

The songwriters featured include Irving Berlin, Kander & Ebb, Richard Rodgers, Jerry Herman, Stephen Sondheim, Charles Aznavour, Paul Simon, Carole King and Billy Joel. The musical arrangements are by Rybeck and the late Brian Lasser, one of the duo’s pivotal early collaborators.
