Provincetownâs world-renowned extravaganza celebrating Halloween is about to begin! Provincetown Halloween festivities begin Thursday and extend through the weekend with spooky parties, haunted dances, events for families and a costume ball. Perhaps being home to Americaâs oldest and continuous permanent artist colony lends to the aura of expressionism that creates the grand scale of townâs Halloween celebration.
The Halloween Costume Ball at Town Hall is a must, but also some of the most elaborate costuming is saved for parading in the streets, where visitors from all over come to view and enjoy.
