inhaleEXHALE is set within the framework of a museum exhibit called the “Understanding America Tour.” The play takes audiences on a wild journey through interconnected vignettes that explore the lives of everyday people grappling with identity, privilege and connection. Guided by four eclectic tour guides who observe humanity with both detachment and curiosity, the play transitions between moments of comedy, heartbreak and hope; each vignette is a snapshot of the human experience, offering a raw and unflinching look at the intersections of race, gender, sexuality and history. In the times we are in today, inhaleEXHALE challenges us to confront uncomfortable truths while celebrating the resilience of the human spirit. ​
