MAC Award Winner and 2024 Female Vocalist MAC Awards nominee Goldie Dver and KouchKids Productions present the next edition of Sneak Peek, a monthly performer and songwriter lab, at Don’t Tell Mama on Wednesday, August 21 at 7 PM.
The theme is “You’re Gonna Hear From Me!” showcasing emerging voices in NYC Cabaret. Dver invited Scott Barbarino, Artistic Director for Ellen’s Stardust Diner, and Lennie Watts, Artistic Director and CEO of Singnasium, to select several of their talented artists, giving the audience a glimpse into their work and aspirations. Guest music director is MAC Award winner, Tracy Stark.
Performing on August 21st are: Shannon Antalan, Dylan Berkshire & Winter Commander, Philip Claflin, Eve Eaton, Katelyn Lauria, Haley Jane Massey, Conor Weiss, and Can Yasar.
“Dver’s goal is to give artists and audience alike the experience of peeking behind the curtain and sharing the process of taking an idea from blank page to fully realized song, performance, or show. At each performance, Dver will conduct informal chats with her guests, and open the floor to audience questions.
Here is the schedule for upcoming Sneak Peeks to date:
September 18: “They’re Playing My Song!” Singer-Songwriters premiere new original material. Confirmed performers include: special guest Sally Mayes, Meg Flather, Tracy Stark, John Cook, Carolyn Montgomery and Bill Zeffiro.
