Audiences loved the long-running, Emmy-winning NBC sitcom “The Golden Girls;” now, be a live audience member ar Golden Girls LIVE: The “Lost” Halloween Special on Saturday, October 2 at 3:30 PM at the Producers Club. Peter Mac presents an affectionate drag parody stage show featuring the bawdy antics and hilarious quips of geriatric roomies Dorothy, Blanche, Rose and Sophia. The original cast of The Golden Girls Live celebrate their 19th year re-creating everyone’s favorite (mostly) gray-haired gals with a new episode that never was: “The Lost Salem Halloween Episode.”
There’s an opening sing-along to “The Golden Girls” theme song before watching the girls embark on a field trip to Salem, where schoolteacher Dorothy gives a lesson on The Crucible—and the girls get into some trouble because Rose removes a book from an ancient pedestal.
The show stars creator Peter Mac as Estelle Getty as Sophia, his husband Dr. John Mac as Bea Arthur as Dorothy (roles they have played almost 2,000 times coast-to-coast) and newcomers Matthew Menendez as Rue Mclanahan as Blanche and Daniel Barrett as Betty White as Rose.
