Frank Dain Reprised the Heartfelt “A Celebration (24 years in the making)” at Don’t Tell Mama

My latest photo journal features images from Frank Dain‘s encore performance of  A Celebration (24 years in the making!) at Don’t Tell Mama on Thursday, October 16th. Frank is, as most of us know, Editor-in-Chief of Cabaret Scenes.

It was a wonderful musical evening filled with songs from his new album, I’ve Had a Love and prior album, I Thought About You, produced 24 years ago with arrangements by the late musical director, Rick Jensen. I’ve Had a Love features musical arrangements by Bistro award-winning music director-pianist Kathleen Landis); The album is dedicated to Frank’s late partner 33 years, Bill Sensenbrenner and through the songs from both albums, the evening was filled with heart-moving stories of Frank’s musical journey.

A Celebration (24 years in the making!)  was directed by multi-award-winning cabaret wizard, Lennie Watts. Landis was supported by guitarist Ted Stafford and bassist Boots Maleson.

What a beautiful evening! If you missed this show, you have one more chance to catch it on Monday, October 27th, 7 PM at Don’t Tell Mama. Click here for reservations.
