Seventeen years on, piano in Bryant Park has become a long-standing New York City tradition. This year, in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic, the piano is back with safety precautions in place. Each week a different pianist will tickle the ivories on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 12:30 pm, thanks to the support of Bryant Park partners: Local 802 of the American Federation of Musicians, the Music Performance Trust Fund, the Jazz Center of New York, and Sam Ash Music Stores.
