The popular series, Fabulous First Fridays, continues its residency at downtown cabaret, Pangea, only this time on a Saturday, November 5 at 9:30 PM. Entitled, Friends & Inspirations, the series was conceived and is directed by Gerry Geddes. featuring music director Yasuhiko Fukuoka at the piano.
This “special edition” is the first to be co-ed with the inclusion of MAC– and Bistro Award– winning singers Sue Matsuki and Mary Foster Conklin. They join singer Mike Schuil (also new to the crew) and Fabulous regulars Brian Childers, Matt Di Pasquale, Andre Montgomery and George Winters. Geddes will also tell a few stories, including a reminiscence about Sir Richard Rodney Bennett and nightlife legend, artist Robert W. Richards. There will be a few numbers connected to those luminaries. As usual there will be laughs, surprises, and great songs in a fast-moving, jam-packed, old-fashioned, new-fangled variety show.
