The popular series Fabulous First Fridays continues its residency at downtown cabaret, Pangea, with a celebration of the musical legend, Jimmy Webb on Friday, December 2 at 9:30 PM. The cast includes Brian Childers, Aisha de Haas, Matt DiPasquale, Karen Mack, Andre Montgomery, Lauren Mufson, Mike Schuil and Lisa Viggiano with music director-pianist Yasuhiko Fukuoka. Writer-director and creator of the series is Gerry Geddes.
Webb, a writer, composer, arranger, producer and singer is famed for “By the Time I Get to Phoenix,” “Up, Up & Away,” “The Worst that Could Happen,” “Didn’t We” and “MacArthur Park” among so many others. Besides the well-known Webb songs, the show will also rare numbers—all material chosen by the cast, done in each singer’s unique style.
