The Puerto Vallarta debut of Double Standards, featured pianist Michael Ferrerijoins with powerhouse vocalists, John Carden and Tony Oakley, a trio that has been entertaining audiences across the globe since their debut at the Shandelee Music Festival in 2018. At Casa Karma Red Room, arrangements by the pianist with Carden’s soaring tenor and Oakley’s rich baritone balanced heart, humor and sheer musicality with and storytelling. Double Standards captured the spirit of cabaret in intimate, heartfelt moments and connection.
