Vocalist and 2025 MAC Hanson Award Winner Diane D’Angelo presents an encore of Closing Credits at Chelsea Table + Stage on Thursday, July 17 at 7 PM. Pianist Gregory Toroian is music director, with bassist Tom Hubbard and drummer David Silliman. Directed Lina Koutrakos
The show celebrates songs from select films, classic and modern, that play as the end credits roll. Years ago, D’Angelo often found herself the last person in the movie theater, savoring the songs that played over the final frames. And so, Closing Credits includes songs from a wide range of movies, from timeless classics to modern favorites such as Working Girl, The Shape of Water, Lilo & Stitch, and many more.
D’Angelo, a classically trained vocalist has appeared on cabaret stages nationally and internationally, has performed for two U.S. Presidents, can be heard on the soundtrack of The Godfather III and has worked with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus. She has sung the comic operas of Gilbert & Sullivan with the Lamplighters Music Theatre and the San Diego Comic Opera, and has performed at events such as the World Expo in Shanghai and Burning Man with her role in the original opera, The Daughters of Ishtar, creating the role of Ishtar, the Goddess of Love.
Tickets are $24-$40 + $25 food/beverage minimum per person. Click here to reserve.
Chelsea Table + Stage is located at 152 W 26th Street, New York, NY
