The Iridium Jazz Club presents husband-and-wife musical duo Tuck & Patti on Thursday, July 24 at 8:30 PM. For over four decades, the pair have enchanted audiences with their unique blend of jazz, soul and folk with Tuck Andress’ masterful fingerstyle guitar playing and Patti Cathcart’s rich, expressive vocals.
Stripping songs down to their purest form—just voice and guitar—they create a sound that is both technically and emotionally impactful. From their breakout album Tears of Joy (1988) to their heartfelt interpretations of classics such as “Time After Time,” Tuck & Patti have built a devoted following worldwide. With 13 albums to their credit, they have toured the world, appearing at times alongside Miles Davis, Count Basie, George Benson, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock and many others. They have long been regarded by musicians and critics as the standard for an improvising musical duo.
