Drag artists Robin Kradles and Ruby Rims will provide running commentary at a special cooking and cocktails brunch class on Sunday, June 28 from 1 pm to 3 pm to benefit Sweet Paws Rescue (SPR). The “friends and family” style event is hosted by chef-mixologist Carolyn Montgomery. The cost of the class is $20. All proceeds will go to SPR.
Attendees will learn to make brunch, complete with cocktails, while being entertained by Kradles and Rims. Cook along with the presentation or just watch and give the recipes a whirl at a later time. For those interested in cooking, a list of ingredients and detailed information will be provided upon confirmed registration.

Sweet Paws Rescue is a registered non-profit animal rescue based in Massachusetts. SPR is a grassroots, shelterless, foster-based and volunteer-powered organization working primarily within two of the poorest counties in Mississippi and Alabama. Since 2011, SPR has rescued over 7000 puppies, dogs and cats that would not have a chance at life otherwise.
