Celebrate October at the Bronx Music Hall with Exciting and Versatile Programming

The Bronx Music Hall (BMH) offers an October lineup of Latin Beats, film, comedy, theater, special tours and more. BMH is the borough’s first newly-constructed independent music performance venue in more than 50 years; and it’s mission is to celebrates the Bronx’s cultural energy. The month also coincides with Open House New York (Oct. 18), when the Bronx Music Hall will join hundreds of cultural and architectural sites citywide in opening its doors for special access and tours. Visitors will explore the theater, rehearsal and classroom facilities, gallery, and outdoor plazas.

Quest IV Yurumein (Documentary + Q&A & Live Music).

The documentary traces the global threads of the Garífuna people through archival footage, insightful testimonies, and powerful dialogue—celebrating identity, resilience, and cultural unity across borders.” A director Q&A and live music will follow the screening.

In Their Footsteps

Infinite Variety Productions presents a play based on oral history interviews with female Vietnam veterans. Through a script crafted entirely from oral histories, In Their Footsteps brings to life the untold experiences of five American women—two military officers and three civilian volunteers—who served in Vietnam, immersing audiences in the human side of war.

Open House New York at BMH

As part of the citywide Open House New York festival, Bronx Music Hall will open its doors for guided tours led by WXY founding principal Claire Weisz and BMH staff. Visitors will explore the theater, rehearsal and classroom facilities, gallery, and outdoor plazas, and learn about BMH’s design and role as the Bronx’s first newly constructed independent music venue in more than 50 years.
