Singer Carole J. Bufford and her trio return to Birdland Theater with her new show, Songs for a Summer Night, on Friday, June 28 through Sunday, June 30, with two sets nightly at 7 PM and 9:30 PM.
The show is a musical escape celebrating those sultry, starlit evenings of summertime. Bufford will put her unique spin on timeless classics made famous by Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Bonnie Raitt, Ray Charles, Nat King Cole, Judy Garland, Wilson Pickett, Patsy Cline, Randy Newman, Mae West and more, along with storytelling to ignite the senses and leave you longing for endless summer nights.
