Award-winning actor, writer and musician, Can M. Yasar, performs Live at Pangea on Saturday, January 24 at 7 PM. Music director-pianist is Tracy Stark; directed by Lennie Watts.
According to Yasar, “In times of chaos and the struggle to maintain control, it becomes crucial to pause and reflect on our origins and the journeys that have shaped us.” Thus, the singer takes his audience on a compelling journey of survival and perseverance through a blend of covers and original songs—sharing his personal story that’s moving, often hilarious and unmistakably his own. Yasar’s work blends cabaret, musical theatre and solo performance to tell stories of identity, faith and belonging.
