Award-winning cabaret artist Michael Kirk Lane returns to The Laurie Beechman Theatre (his oldd stomping grounds) on Friday, August 15 and Tuesday, September 16, both at 7 PM. The show is under Faith Prince’s direction and Yasuhiko Fukuoka’s musical direction.
Entitled, Right Where I Belong!, the show is an evening looking at the twists and turns and sometimes cyclical nature of life. It features his prime storytelling with some whimsy thrown in.
Lane is the recipient of the 2020 Manhattan Association of Cabaret Award for Male Musical Comedy Performer. Along with thhree previous MAC nominations, he has been nominated for 10 BroadwayWorld Cabaret Awards, winning in 2018 for Best Show. His series Cabaret Conversations through the 92NY School of Music won the 2022 MAC award for Virtual Presentation.
