The Third Annual Janice Jam for breast cancer research is on Sunday, May 5 at Sony Hall at 7:30 PM. Musical direction is by Benjamin Rauhala, with Yair Evnine (guitar, cello), Rich Mercurio (drums), Lee Nadel (bass) and Meg Toohey (guitar). The concert is an evening of song, celebration and solidarity benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), funding research for metastatic breast cancer.
Performing are Caroline Bowman, Brent Comer, Jenn Colella, Lauren Patten, Nik Walker, Oscar winner Ariana DeBose, Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan, Krysta Rodriguez, Tony Winner John Gallagher Jr., Kara Lindsay, Maia Reficco, Christine Dwyer, Matt DeAngelis, Rebecca Naomi Jones and more.
Founded by Broadway performer Matt DeAngelis in loving memory of his mother Janice, who passed away from metastatic breast cancer in 2022, The Janice Jam honors those we’ve lost, uplifts those still fighting and funds critical research. One hundred percent of net proceeds support research grants through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), the world’s largest private funder of breast cancer research.
