A benefit luncheon and concert on Saturday April 21st from 12:30 to 4:00 PM will be held for Special Audiences and Musicians (SAM), a unique non-profit organization that presents concerts at nursing homes, senior citizen centers and other such venues. SAM employs jazz musicians from three under-represented groups: Musicians with Disabilities, Senior Musicians and Female jazz Musicians.
Musicians performing at the benefit luncheon and concert include George Coleman, Jimmy Owens, Frank London, Virginia Mayhew, Peter Ecklund, Murray Wall, Ehud Asherie, Dan Kaufman, Adi Meyerson, Becca Patterson and Sam Baum as well as others.
