“Ageless Wonders: A Grown Up Kid’s Guide to Growing Newer,” One-Woman Show about Ageism Is a Collaboration with United Solo Festival

Ageless Wonders: A Grown Up Kid’s Guide to Growing Newer is a one-woman musical/dramedy designed to enlighten people on aging in modern times, while sheding light on the benefits of entering the club of senior wonderhood. This one-hour play, under the direction of Best National Solo Artist Jessica Lynn Johnson, . promises to evoke some tears and produce smiles and even laughter. The show has an original score written by Grammy winner Roland Mousaa and Mindy Fradkin, both of whom had the privilege of working with folk icon.activist Pete Seeger.

Ageless Wonders features writer, actress and hat designer Fradkin, whose story is unique yet strikes a universal chord. When Fradkin, aka Princess Wow, made the realization that she joined “this club” as a senior “wonder,” she began to research aging and found helpful information that profoundly inspired her and she decided she wanted to share it with others.

Fradkin is the founder of The Smile Revolution, which raises conscious awareness to the healing power of a genuine smile. As an example of someone who embodies her view, Mindy introduces Anthony Mancinelli, a 107 year young active barber, on a video interview who still drives, lives alone, works full time, wears no glasses, and is a true ageless wonder.
