Lee Lessack and Robert Bannon, the hosts of the weekly, online chat show, Quarantine, Cabaret and Cocktails, have launched a new live virtual series, Broadway Cast Reunion, available as a subscription series as well as to single ticket buyers. The kick-off begins, tonight, February 17 at 8 PM ET, with the cast of Frozen, featuring Caissie Levy (Elsa), Patti Murin (Anna), Jelani Alladin (Kristoff) Robert Creighton (Weselton), Kevin Del Aguila (Oaken), Timothy Hughes (Pabbie), Andrew Pirozzi (Sven) and John Riddle (Hans). Attendees will be able to interact with the cast and ask questions through the chat feature.
The series gives audiences an opportunity to get close to Broadway during this unprecedented moratorium on in-person, live entertainment. The series also offers the casts of many major musicals unable to tour this season a chance to stay connected to friends and fans, who can now do what they may never have done before: visit “backstage.†It’s an opportunity for everyone to hear personal, unscripted stories and gossip in an off-the-cuff format.
Here is the lineup to date: Hadestown on 2/24; on March 10th, The Lion King with Heather Headley; Dear Evan Hanson, March 24th; and April 7th brings a special Jersey Boys: Everyone Remembers It How They Need To featuring Rick Elice, Marshall Brickman and Des McAnuff.
