Broadway Star Carole Demas Performs “Firefly” at 54 Below on Wednesday, July 23

Broadway, TV, concert and cabaret star Carole Demas celebrates 85 years of life in Firefly on Wednesday, July 23 at 7:00 PM at 54 Below. Music director-pianist is Ian Herman.

Firefly features songs and memories from her storied career. With special guests, Paula Janis (TV’s “The Magic Garden”) Ilene Kristen (Broadway’s Grease) and Ryan Williams (Broadway tour Grease)

Demas, originated the roles of Sandy in Grease on Broadway and the title role of Stephen Schwartz’s The Baker’s Wife as well as starred in numerous other roles on and Off-Broadway. She has performed on stage for more than six decades, including two years as Luisa in The Fantasticks at the Sullivan Street Playhouse. Her numerous television credits include “The Magic Garden,” “PBS’ Showstoppers: Best of Broadway” and numerous guest starring roles on daytime and prime time programs.
