My latest photo journal captures featured moments at Don’t Tell Mama from one evening of the recent four-day event of a Singnasium bootcamp, as a group of talent singers, from teenagers to over 50 —Aaron Adrian, John Burns, Camille Diamond, Lily Krebs, Justin Dylan Nastro, Tricia Scott, Karen Steinberg, Jeremy Sussman—presented “What happens when you take a look at the amazing catalogues Stephen Schwartz and Alan Menken (together or apart), and view them through a new lens, with a different point of view, and fresh arrangements. And so, The Arrangement Experience Bootcamp: Wickedly Enchanted, the Music of Stephen Schwartz and Alan Menken, took place wherein each participant brought two songs to play with. On the final day, each presented the final result od their work and shared the magic they’d created!
The show was directed by Singnasium Artistic Director, Lennie Watts, with musical direction by piianist Andrew David Sotomayor, supported by bassist Matt Scharfglass.
A fun time was had by all who attended, witnessing the creative arrangements that occurred over the four-day weekend. I’ve taken 12 of these bootcamps myself and I highly recommend checking it out along with other fun classes at Singnasium !
