The Q Gets A Visit From The Imperial Court of New York

The Q, the monthly gay variety talk show, is back at Metropolitan Room on Saturday afternoon, February 18th at 4:00 PM. Join the hosts —Thomas Dieter, Joseph Macchia, Shawn Moninger — and guest host Billy Lykken (see the review of his recent smash show by our pleased critic, Bart Greenberg under “Cabaret Reviews”). The glib guys with twinkles in their eyes will welcome the ever-festive members of The Imperial Court of New York … Empress Robin Kradles, Empress Farrah Moans, John Burke aka Sybil Bruncheon and other surprise guests. The show is a benefit for The Court which is a social, fundraising organization which has raised and donated back into the community over $2 million for social service and health support organizations. In addition to these efforts on their own, they often lend their support and talent to other organizations in their ventures by performing, volunteering or just adding beauty and style! Members are people who have chosen to make a commitment, get involved and make a difference in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. Their membership is broad and varied— including lawyers, carpenters, therapists, ministers, stockbrokers, hairdressers, marketers, performers, accountants, teachers, florists, antique dealers, jewelers and folks from a certain cabaret talk show!

The Metropolitan Room is at 34 West 22 Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues in Manhattan. Reservations: 212-206-0440 on online (where you can also find the venue’s full calendar and more info):www.metropolitanroom.com
