Singer-Songwriter Duncan Sheik Debuts at Café Carlyle, October 3-7

Grammy and Tony Award winning singer-songwriter-composer, Duncan Sheik, makes his Café Carlyle debut, October 3-7. Sheik is the composer of the Tony-winning musical Spring Awakening, which won eight of the awards, including Best Musical of 2007. Two Tonys were awarded to Sheik, for Best Orchestrations and Best Original Score. Spring Awakening also garnered Sheik a Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album.

Initially finding success as a singer, Sheik launched his career in 1996 with his Grammy nominated self-titled debut album. He’s released multiple albums since, most recently Legerdemain in 2015, and in 2016, American Psycho: Original London Cast Recording. The latter, with lyrics and music written by Sheik, premiered on Broadway in 2016 after a sold-out London run. He is currently working on several theatre projects including Secret Life of Bees and Because of Winn Dixie.

Performances of Duncan Sheik at the Café Carlyle are from Tuesday – Saturday at 8:45pm. Weekday pricing begins at $85 per person / Bar Seating: $65 / Premium Seating: $135.
