Singer Clark Warren Advises: “Pick Yourself Up” at Don’t Tell Mama February 2nd & 13th

Clark Warren invites you to Pick Yourself Up at Don’t Tell Mama on Friday, February 2 and Tuesday, February 13 (both shows at 7:00). He is joined by Takaaki Otomo on piano, Noriko Ueda on bass and Kaori Yamada on percussion. Clark is a singer, actor, voice-over artist, magician and entertainer. His business card simply reads “Voice” since working that instrument has always been his only business. From major TV voiceovers, to his hosting radio programs, to his appearances at New York’s Birdland and 20 years in Manhattan cabaret, Clark has shared a lifetime of entertaining on stage, on radio, on TV and in nightclubs with appreciative reviewers and fans.

Career highlights include: his continuing role as Don Curtis on NBC’s “From These Roots”; Emmy Award-winning episode “Carol” in Ben Gazzara’s “Run for Your Life”; “Coogan’s Bluff” with Clint Eastwood and Lee J. Cobb; four shows a night at Hollywood’s Magic Castle where his oil portrait and caricature hang; news/music host on stations WDXN, WCBN and WMTR; eight seasons of repertory stock; sole corporate TV spokesman for Thomas’ English Muffins (six years), Woolite (seven years), Ford Motor Company (two years); and core member Singers Forum OutReach (18 years).

Clark knows he’s a Lucky So and So, to invoke the name of his CD and his earlier cabaret act, a tuneful, upbeat show reflecting that gratitude attitude. His show is like the great Manhattan nightclub performances of days gone by.

There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $15 cover for MAC Members.

Clark’s CD is available for purchase at CDBaby or after each performance.
“I like the whole CD.” – Marian McPartland, jazz pianist/composer
