Ray DeForest Back with Holiday Cheer as Doris Dear on 12/13 & 12/20

Ray DeForest back in A Doris Dear Christmas Special on December 13 and 20 at 7:00 PM at The Triad on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

2016 MAC Award winner for Impersonation/drag, the performer’s Rumpus Room has room for a holiday party full of special guests, comedy, songs and stories. Cabaret director Lina Koutrakos and frequent musical director partner Rick Jensen, award winners themselves and both doing double duty as guest performers on the roster, put together a program recalling staged TV parties, allowing Doris Dear “to bring stories and style back for a celebration with her friends dropping in for a holiday drink or two!” Special guests include singer Lisa Yaeger and guitarist extraordinaire Sean Harkness.

This is the holiday special that asks not the question “What Child Is This?” or “Do You Hear What I Hear?,” but, instead, “Who knew you could do so many things with pipe cleaners, glue and glitter?!!!” The Triad is at 158 West 72 Street in Manhattan. There is a $39 – $34 cover charge and a 2-drink minimum. Tickets and information are available here . All tickets must be purchased in advance.
