Hopefully you’ve had a chance to see Sharon McNight’s highly acclaimed, Nightlife Award-winning salute to living female songwriters, Ladies, Compose Yourselves! Following in those footsteps, and dedicated to sexual equality, Sharon is proud to bring her newest show to New York City as a tribute to living male songwriters, called Men of Note!

Ms. McNight’s vocal versatility wraps itself around songs from leading musical theatre composers including Steven Schwartz, Craig Carnelia and John Bucchino. She also sings the music of the legendary Bob Dylan and folk-writer John Prine. Also represented are Willie Nelson and songs from the pop/rock songbooks of Billy Joel, Brian Wilson and Randy Newman. One might say it’s a perfect example of McNight’s penchant for musical eclecticism and no one does it better.

Added to the musical potpourri, is Ms. McNight’s renowned comedic view of life and the world.  Mix in a warm communication with her audience and you have a perfect evening of song and comedy in the hands of a master (or mistress, as the case may be).
