Mandy Gonzalez Makes Café Carlyle Debut on October 24

Just days ahead of her debut at the Café Carlyle, Mandy Gonzalez‘s first solo album, Fearless, will have its launch. Gonzalez’s show will feature songs from the recording, the title track of which was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. The shared theme of the CD and club act was inspired by the movement #FearlessSquad, a group of people who, sparked by the singer on social media, encourage each other to go for, and fulfill their dreams. Gonzalez was moved to help make social media a more positive environment, perceiving an urgency for people to have a sense of belonging – and to understand there is nothing more powerful than the human spirit.

Patrons at the late October performances shows will hear, among the original numbers also on Fearless, the work of veteran Broadway writer Tom Kitt, Jennifer Nettles and Bill Sherman (who produced the album) – sung by the powerfully-voiced singer with trademark intensity.

She has most recently been playing the role of Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton and was seen previously on Broadway as Elphaba in Wicked and Nina in In the Heights.

The nightclub engagement runs from October 24 through November 4. Performances will take place Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8:45 PM. Weekday pricing begins at $80 per person / Bar Seating: $55 / Premium Seating: $130. Weekend pricing begins at $95 per person / Bar Seating: $70 / Premium Seating: $145.
