Bagels & Baklava & Friends, the show that has been dubbed “the funniest Friday night comedy show in NYC” will begin performances on July 14 at 8 PM and every Friday night through the end of September. Starring Janice Messitte and Greg Kritikos (“Greg the Greek”), the series will present some of the top comics from HBO, Comedy Central, and The Tonight Show.

She is known for her comedic impressions of Barbra Streisand, Mae West, Cher, Fran Drescher, and Joan Rivers. Also an accomplished vocalist, Messitte was nominated for a MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs) Award in 2oo2, for her act Messitte, Scudder & Martin. She can occasionally be found singing in the piano bar at The Duplex in the West Village.
