But more than that, this is also a CD project that jazz bass player and leader Todd Coolman (he's aptly named) has brought forth to assert that jazz is an established art form & that his group represents the musical values to keep jazz ''alive.'' May I assert thatTodd and his group intellectualize their music to sooth the ear of their listeners, (us!)  As a matter of fact, this group defies definition. Todd and his sidemen deliver their music with paramount talent, sensitivity, and above all with a well developed art of artistic communication.
