Have Yourself a Frazzled Little Christmas with This NYC Merry Musical Romp

Not Another Christmas Letter! is an original musical comedy revue playing on West 40th Street that aims to please and tease the season because ’tis the season to be jolly, despite any stress or strife.  Unfolding in a series of comic or poignant vignettes, the cast of four actors brings 46 characters to life celebrating everything that drives people crazy about Christmas . . . and why we love it anyway. Situations range from receiving that first obnoxious Christmas letter to taking the family picture, from dealing with in-laws, to facing gifts that have to be assembled under the tree before the family assembles Christmas morning.

Characters include a harried husband frantically shopping for his wife, to harried dad assembling gifts on Christmas Eve, a grown man facing the first Christmas without the parents, a child who won’t go to sleep, Mom-on-the-edge organizing the family picture and bratty teen who’s too cool for it, a woman facing Christmas at the kids’ table . . . again.

Stomping Ground Theatre Company, a non-profit theatre, presents the show in the active Metro Baptist Church space at 410 West 40 Street between Ninth and Tenth Avenues in Manhattan.
